Dear Moghamoan:
As we prepare to mark another milestone in our association’s history, the Washington DC is very excited about programs for the 2008
Convention -
the plan is to go light on talk and high on entertainment. We are equally proud to be honored by the General Assembly’s Atlanta 2007
decision to give us the responsibility of hosting the MEDA-USA 12th Annual Convention scheduled for July 25-27, 2008.
We promise to make it a worthwhile experience for every attendee and we strongly welcome every suggestion that will enable us be the
best host we can. Please feel very free to click the comments box below and make your suggestions.
There will be a lot of activities and programs and the planning committee is making every effort to make this convention the most
fun and kid-friendly MEDA USA Convention ever. Bus tours will be organized to show case Washington DC’s beauty and rich history and Moghamo Culture will be a high priority. It is important to us that our kids
embrace and understand our culture.
If you have any dignitary, artist, friend or family from home that you’ll like to attend this great event, please feel free to drop
a mail by completing the form below or by e-mailing ptendoh@moghamo.org or dc2008@moghamo.org. The invitation committee will review
every request and will ship the invitation where necessary.
As you may have noticed, the hotel and Convention Center are located very close by. This will help with the rising gas prices and we
hope this will also help combat the tardiness that has always been a problem in our gatherings. Car pooling arrangements are highly encouraged.
We look forward to having all Moghamoans attend this event and we promise it will be full of fun and excitement. Thank you so much.
