Flora Edwards The MEDA-USA Orphans Program is designed to help children of Moghamo that are orphaned by AIDS or are unable to obtain basic elementary education because of financial constraints resulting from this epidemic. Though a partnership with Shaping Destiny, a Christian non profit organization working in Moghamo, MEDA-USA is now the proud sponsor of 10 Moghamo kids that are all back to school thanks to this initiative. All sponsored kids as per this arrangement are entitled to: Education Medical Care (including vaccination & checkups) Food and Clothing Recreation/spiritual growth MEDA-USA will maintain direct regular contact with the kids whenever possible getting their school progress reports, exchanging letters and monitoring their growth and development. MEDA-USA will achieve this through the coordination and assistance of our partner Shaping Destiny, and MEDANS visiting home will be encouraged to take gifts and meet with the kids.
